After updating from Windows 7 to 10, I started experiencing feedback from the microphone to the speakers. I disabled the microphone and I still get feedback in the speakers. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop which never had an occurrence of thisissue until after Windows 10 was installed. Again, the microphone is already disabled and feedback/'hot mic' is still happening! Select playback devices3. Highlight the default speaker or speaker you want to use4. Click properties5. Select Levels Tab6. Disable Microphone FP. (enabling it causes the feedback of microphone to the speaker)7.
