So, I'm planning on picking up Black Ops II on Steam, and I'm mainly focused on AI bots, since my internet isn't too great and I usually teleport around in multiplayer games making them near unplayable and extremely frustrating.I saw this video on YouTube showcasing a mod that allows you to have progression against bots, just like it would be in multiplayer. I know normally moding the game will result in a VAC ban, however this mod uses a different client based off of the steam version, so as far as I understand, it's basically a seperate game.If this is the case I would imagine it would not trigger a VAC ban, since its a different client. The video also has a lot more likes than dislikes, and I didn't see anyone saying they got a VAC ban from it, so it seems safe, but I want to be 100% sure before I use it.

Anyone use this mod before or know for certain it WILL NOT cause a VAC ban?You already had someone tell you here not to use it which is good, but in the future, I wouldn't rely on the forums to find this out, I'd contact Steam to be 100% sure. Sometimes there's trolls that will tell you wrong just for kicks, best to be safe. I actually had redacted because I wanted to play zombies and also redactedIs a WHOLE other client, the rank up mod thing is already embedded in the client (it also comes with modded weapons on install like the intervention and stuff.);)You won't get banned because steam picks it up as a whole other program.

So you won't get a VAC ban I do suggest, just for the sake of safety, is to log out of your steam account to prevent any altercations.
