Star Wars Battlefront 2 Heroes List

This year brings with it not only the next installment of the saga - Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi - but a sequel to 2015's Star Wars Battlefront. Developed by EA DICE and Creative Games, Battlefront has sold over 13 million copies, and though met with backlash upon release for not containing a single-player campaign or split-screen co-op (among other features), Battlefront retains players with timely content releases, like last year's Rogue One: Scarif DLC.Still, aware that many fans found Star Wars Battlefront lacking in some respects, EA has overhauled the formula for the sequel, joining forces with a third developer, Motive Studios.

Like its predecessor, Star Wars Battlefront II lets you play as iconic characters from the Star Wars universe, like Luke Skywalker and even Yoda. While not all of the game's heroes and villains.

Will not only feature a single-player campaign and split-screen cop-op, but added player customization and multiplayer gameplay that will span all eras of the Star Wars saga. Having already been a playable hero in the first Star Wars Battlefront, it isn't at all surprising that Luke Skywalker returns for the sequel. As a Jedi, Luke's movements are incredibly quick, making him an almost impossible target to hit.

Armed with his lightsaber and The Force, Luke is one tough opponent and an invaluable asset for any Rebel team to have. In Battlefront, his abilities included a Force Push and Saber Rush attacks, but there's been no word on whether that'll remain the same or if he'll have his gameplay redesigned for the sequel.

Star wars battlefront 2 hero list

Since the first Battlefront focused solely on the time frame of the original Star Wars trilogy, Luke was the only playable Jedi. But with the sequel opening up to include every era of the Star Wars saga, there are in fact multiple Force users now available as playable characters. One of those is The Force Awakens' protagonist, Rey. Expect her gameplay style to be similar to Luke's, but possibly less refined. As a pre-order bonus, players can unlock an exclusive outfit for Rey inspired by her look in The Last Jedi as well as ability modifiers; one for the Millenium Falcon, updating it to look and sound as it does in The Last Jedi, and another that allows Rey to controls the minds of enemies, creating confusion on the battlefield.

Not every hero needs the Force, sometimes all you need is a good blaster at your side. Han Solo is another returning character to the Battlefront franchise, and while specific details remain under wraps, he will almost certainly come equipped with his trusty DL-44 blaster and roguish charm. In the first Battlefront, Han would use his impeccable aim to pick off enemies from afar with moves like Rapid Fire and Lucky Shot, but he could also be a little reckless, rushing into battle with a damaging Shoulder Charge. There has not yet been any official confirmation on whether or not Darth Vader will return as a playable character in Battlefront 2 (though we're pretty confident he will ), but his grandson and number one fan, Kylo Ren is definitely a part of the sequel. In the trailer, Kylo can be seen throwing enemies with The Force and slicing them up with his crossguard lightsaber.

And like Rey, Kylo will also come with a few pre-order bonuses, including a skin inspired by his look in The Last Jedi as well an ability modifier that lets him freeze and pull enemies with The Force and one for a new First Order ship - possibly his. Though his screen time was brief in Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Darth Maul thanks to his continuing adventures in Star Wars comics and animated series. So it isn't all that surprising for the former Sith to be included as a playable character in Battlefront 2. In the trailer, hinting at the kinds of possible matches players can look forward to having. He appears whole (no robot legs here, though that would make for a fun alternate look) and is shown using his iconic double bladed lightsaber, which is sure to make for an interesting play style. A in the Star Wars universe, Iden Versio is an officer in the Imperial special forces in command of Inferno Squadron.

She and her team took part in the Battle of Endor, and upon the destruction of the second Death Star and death of The Emperor, she took it upon herself to hunt down those responsible. Players will take control of Iden in Battlefront 2's single player campaign, leading Inferno Squadron in their pursuit of Luke Skywalker.-Do you already have a favorite hero character chosen, or are you holding out hope for a specific playable character to be confirmed? Let us hear about it in the comments!

On your path to platinum, the main task will be to reach level 50 in multiplayer. All other online trophies can be done along the way and are straightforward and easy. Unlike the last Star Wars game, there is actually a full offline campaign this time. Nearly half the trophies are tied to the campaign. You get one trophy per mission just for completing it (difficulty doesn’t matter).

There are collectibles but they aren’t needed for anything so you can skip them. The campaign is short, it takes roughly 5 hours. Most time will be spent in multiplayer in order to reach level 50. Step 1: CampaignThere is one automatic trophy tied to each chapter. Simply complete the story on any difficulty (easy will do) to get the 13 automatic story trophies.

There are also 4 miscellaneous trophies that can be done in the campaign. Watch out for the following 4 trophies along the way (can get them via mission select at any time). Dark Forces (Mission 1: The Cleaner). Balance Point (Mission 2: The Battle of Endor). Master of Deception (Mission 5: The Storm). X-wing vs. TIE Fighter (Mission 11: The Battle of Jakku)That’s all for the campaign.

Just complete it on easy and get those 4 trophies. Step 2: Arcade (Battle Scenarios)Go to Main Menu Play Arcade Solo Battle Scenarios. There are 16 Battle Scenarios (8 Light Side + 8 Dark Side). You only need to do the first 1-star version of each scenario.

The 2-star & 3-star versions are not required and can be skipped. It takes 1 hour to complete them all. The task is always the same: kill a certain amount of enemies in a predefined time frame. You’ll also get to play the different heroes & villains here so it’s great practice for the multiplayer. Step 3: MultiplayerThis is the big part for platinum.

Luckily, the trophies aren’t too difficult, just time consuming. Reaching level 50 is the main objective. Start by winning a match in each mode. This will unlock 6 quick trophies (1 trophy per mode just for winning the match). There are also 4 trophies tied to the infantry classes and their special abilities:. Assault: Defeat 3 enemies within one Vanguard usage 5 times. Heavy: Defeat 150 enemies with the Heavy’s Sentry Gun. Officer: Boost 100 allies with the Officer commands.

Specialist: Get 25 headshots with longblaster riflesPlay with each class to get those trophies out of the way. Then you also need to unlock all the heroes for trophy “Do. There is no Try.”. There are 14 heroes. You already have 8 unlocked when the game starts. The remaining 6 need to be bought with credits (all of them combined cost 65,000 Credits).

Do not waste your credits on Supply Crates and Starcards. Focus on unlocking the heroes first. Getting 65,000 credits will take 15-20 hours, you’ll get more than enough on the path to level 50. Another time consuming trophy requires you to get 500 kills with heroes, so be sure to always trade your points for hero spawns in online matches. The game mode “Starfighter Assault” also has many trophies tied to it. There’s one trophy per type of starship. So don’t just play one mode the entire time, do some Starfighter Assault to get those trophies & milestones. To sum up the Multiplayer: the trophies are like basic tutorials of all the available modes, classes, starships and heroes.

It’s a mix of everything the Multiplayer has to offer. Just watch where the sniper goes and hide behind cover until he stops walking. Then sneak up on him to do the stealth kill (press R3).A Job Well DoneComplete 25 Multiplayer Milestones. This trophy unlocks automatically on your path to level 50.There are a total of 174 Milestones: 27 Multiplayer Milestones, 72 Trooper Milestones, 42 Hero Milestones, 33 Starfighter Milestones.

All of them count towards this trophy. To see them go to Main Menu Career. You need to complete 25 of 174 Milestones listed in the 4 online categories.

They are actually very easy tasks, most of which will come naturally over time as you play the game (repetitive things like killing 500 enemies). Luckily, it tracks your exact progress so you can see how many kills you have for everything. After completing a milestone you can go to the career menu to exchange it for a reward (crystals, credits or crafting materials). They are fairly self-explanatory once you’ve played a match of each mode. Just play the game and you’ll automatically unlock 25 Milestones without ever looking at them. The trophy unlocks immediately after completing the 25th milestone, you don’t have to redeem them in the career menu.Outbound FlightWin a match of Starfighter Assault.Win one match in the “Starfighter Assault” multiplayer mode. This is the most time consuming trophy in the game by far. Just keep playing Multiplayer and work on other trophies along the way. It takes roughly 100-150 hours. The fastest way to gain XP is by playing Heroes vs. Villains. You can check your current level in the Career screen of the Main Menu. Not All MissIn multiplayer, defeat 3 enemies within one Vanguard usage 5 times.“Vanguard” is the special ability of the Assault class. You activate it with +. It’s a combat shotgun that stays active for a brief time.

You have to kill 3 enemies with one shotgun before the ability runs out. This can be done in game modes Galactic Assault, Strike, Blast. It’s best done in Blast matches. These take place in close quarters on the smallest maps. Killing enemies with the shotgun is really easy in this mode.

Try to ambush enemies from behind. In this mode they often come in groups so if you ambush them you can easily wipe out entire squads within seconds. The star card “Killstreak Vanguard” makes this easier. It replenishes your active time when you defeat an enemy with vanguard (by up to 55%). You can craft it in the Collection menu using crafting materials. You can track the progress via milestones. Star Wars Battlefront 2 Heroes List

Use a Bomber ship and kill 50 enemies using the Dual Proton Torpedo ability (press to target an enemy while aiming at them and again to fire the torpedo once you’ve locked on to the enemy). To make this easier you should craft the star cards “Advanced Torpedos” for up to 40% damage increase and “Targeting Computer” for decreasing the lock-on time by up to 50%. You can craft star cards in the Collection screen of the Main Menu. You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu Collection Starfighters Lock On Target (Defeat 50 Enemies using Dual Proton Torpedoes with the Bomber ship class).Multi-taskingDefeat 25 Hero ships with Fighter ships. Can be done in multiplayer game mode “Starfighter Assault”. This is a bit random as players won’t be using Hero ships all the time.

Players can use Hero Ships after having earned a certain amount of points over the course of the match. Hero ships are special types of spacecraft, they look different from the “normal” starships (e.g. One is designed like a UFO). The best strategy is to always play as a Fighter ship. When you’re the defender, fly around the defense objective and shoot down enemy aircraft.

As the match progresses people will be using Hero ships more often so focus your fire on those special ships. When you’re the attacker, ignore the key objective and just focus on killing the enemy team. About halfway through the match people will use their hero ships quite frequently. You can shoot down a few of them per match. To make this easier you should craft star cards for your fighter ship. This can be done in the Collection screen of the Main Menu. They increase the damage / defense of your ship. You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu Collection Starfighters Take Out The Leader (Defeat 25 Hero ships with the Fighter ship class).Note: there are two milestones in this category with the exact same name.

It only counts kills on enemy targets (not the 3 unmarked enemies) while you’re a target yourself!

This can be done in multiplayer game mode “Heroes vs. Villains”. One member of each team gets marked as the target. Killing that targeted player earns a point. The first team to get 10 points wins (i.e.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 All Heroes List

Kill 10 targeted players).During the match you too will become the marked/targeted player, usually 2-4 times per match. When this happens it says “You will be the next target”. While you’re the active target it says “You are the target” at the top of the screen. For this trophy, when you are the marked player, you must kill the other team’s marked player a total of 50 times. It does not count kills on unmarked enemies of the opposite team (must be the 1 targeted player).

It also doesn’t count kills while you aren’t a target yourself.Pick a Hero you are comfortable with and don’t rush to the marked enemy alone. Try to stick with your team. I prefer Kylo Ren or Darth Maul when playing the Dark Side. Kylo is the best character in my opinion. He can freeze enemies, jump towards them or pull enemies all while dealing massive lightsaber damage.

When you freeze an enemy and do lightsaber attacks it’s always a certain kill (abilities can further be upgraded with starcards). On the Light Side I prefer Rey, her Mind Trick ability is really good and she deals a lot of damage with the lightsaber. Give all Heroes/Villains a try to see which one works best for you. This is one of the more time consuming trophies. Keep playing this mode and remember to kill the marked enemy target whenever you’re the marked/targeted player yourself (kill a total of 50 marked players while you’re also the target).Quick StrikeBe the first one to defeat an enemy in a multiplayer match.Self-explanatory.

In any type of multiplayer match, be the first player to earn a kill. You have to rush into the enemy groups quickly. Throwing an explosive grenade with the heavy or assault class usually works well. On your way to level 50 you’ll be playing lots of matches so you have plenty of opportunities to get this done.Heavy is the HandWin a match of Heroes vs Villains.Win one match in the “Heroes vs. Villains” multiplayer mode. There is no Try.Play as all heroes in Multiplayer. Not all heroes are unlocked from the start. There are 14 heroes in total.

You have 8 unlocked by default and 6 you need to unlock yourself. Unlocking heroes costs credits. You earn credits by playing multiplayer, arcade and by redeeming completed Milestones (go to Main Menu Career Milestones press to redeem completed ones). The heroes you need to unlock are:. Chewbacca – 10,000 Credits.

Darth Vader – 15,000 Credits. Emperor Palpatine – 10,000 Credits. Iden Versio – 5,000 Credits. Leia Organa – 10,000 Credits. Luke Skywalker – 15,000 CreditsSo in total you need to spend 65,000 Credits to get all of them. Don’t waste all your credits on Supply Crates.

Try to unlock the heroes first. On your way to level 50 you will earn way more credits than needed. Earning 65,000 isn’t too bad thanks to all the milestone rewards. You can get that much money in 15-20 hours of playtime.Once you have all heroes unlocked, use all of them in multiplayer matches. The easiest way is to play Heroes vs. Villains.A Galaxy at WarWin one match in each Multiplayer game mode. There are 5 multiplayer game modes. Each one has an individual trophy for winning the match.

So winning a match in each mode will earn you 5 trophies + “A Galaxy at War” trophy for winning all of them. The game modes are:. Galactic Assault. Starfighter Assault. Heroes vs. Villains. Strike.

Battlefront 2 Confirmed Heroes

BlastThis trophy is known to be glitchy (same for the achievement on Xbox One). If you have the 5 individual trophies for winning each mode but not this one, you must win the modes again.

Sometimes the tracker doesn’t properly update. Just go through them again and it should pop.We are the SparkDefeat 500 enemies as a hero on any Multiplayer map. This counts your kill as a hero across all modes.

In “Galactic Assault” or “Strike” mode, you can buy Heroes after having reached a certain amount of points in that match. Then kill normal enemies with the hero. Villain you will always be playing a Hero so it counts every kill you do in that mode.

However, you have fewer opponents in Hero vs. Villain and they are Heroes themselves, thus harder to defeat. In all likelihood this will come naturally on your path to level 50. Luckily it counts your Hero kills from all game modes (including Hero vs. Villain). You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu Collection Milestones Multiplayer  Annihilation (Defeat 500 Enemies as a Hero on any Multiplayer map).

Thanks, I think you are totally right about that. Talked to some friends and checked their trophy screenshots. In every case the trophy popped when killing the target player of the opposite team while being targeted yourself. This explains why the trophy took so much grinding for some people to unlock.

So basically, kills on the 3 unmarked enemies don’t count at all. It only counts the targeted enemy and it only works when you’re also a marked target (which happens 2-4 times per match).

So you can maybe get 2 or so kills towards this trophy per match if you’re a good player and really focusing on it. The trophy guide has been updated to reflect on this new info.Dingus says.
